A ladder-logic PLC so small and low-cost it can replace the bulky relays, timers and counters in a control panel. Transistor (NPN) outputs need no extra driver circuitry, and a built-in RS485 port lets up to 248 units network as remote I/O.

Overview

Tiny, cheap, and technically superior.

The E10-npn+ is an enhanced E10-npn: all timers and counters now support set values from 0–9999 (instead of 0–254), program capacity rises to 216 steps (from 90), and it is programmed with WinTRiLOGI v3.5 under Windows.

It has a jumper-selectable RS232/RS485 port with programmable baud rate and a full set of host-link commands like the H- and M-series PLCs — so it works as a slave I/O board for a host PC or as remote I/O for an M-series PLC. With its 1/8-power RS485 driver, up to 248 E10-npn+ can network to a single host PC or PLC over a twisted pair up to 1200 m (4000 ft).
