Application notes
Each note explains how to use a Super PLC to control another PLC, or several, as a remote I/O network. One Super PLC acts as the master; E10+ or Super PLCs act as the slaves. Every note ships with a sample program.
E10+ remote I/O
How to use a ‘Super’ PLC to control the E10+ PLC. The programming is fairly simple, allowing a few E10+ PLCs to be controlled on the network.
How to use a ‘Super’ PLC to control the E10+ PLC. The programming is more advanced, but up to 255 E10+ PLCs can be used as remote I/O.
Super PLC remote I/O
How to use a ‘Super’ PLC to control other Super PLCs using the Modbus protocol. The programming is fairly simple, allowing a few Super PLCs to be controlled on the network.
How to use any TRi Super PLC (Nano-10, FMD, F-series) as remote I/O for a master Super PLC. The programming is more advanced and more than 250 Super PLCs can be used as remote I/O.
Our engineers can advise on master/slave topology, RS485 wiring and Modbus addressing.
